Urban Meyer’s abridged season as a head coach was nothing short of a dumpster fire. He had multiple situations of drama that did not paint him in a good light. This included calling his other coaches’ losers, not returning with the team, and being caught overnight in a bar with a woman who was not his wife.
The product he put out on the field was not any better, with the Jaguars going 2.11 up to this point in the season.
Meyer was let go overnight, and it is now known that a former kicker for the Jags accused Meyer of deliberately kicking an already injured player.
Meyer had long ago lost the respect of the players. Hopefully, his release will help the Jags improve their season from now on.
